About
Kim Lennox is a visual artist working in a variety of media, including charcoal, ink, and watercolor.
She has always been fascinated by how we see the world, and has tried to capture it in pencil, charcoal, and on camera. For portraits, she works almost exclusively from life, capturing the essence of a subject in the moment.
She brings her paints and papers on all her travels, along with a camera for capturing those scenes too fleeting to be committed to paper live.
When she isn’t drawing, she works as an engineer building computer vision systems. She incorporates her knowledge of the physics of light and the science of human vision into her work.
She is originally from Plano, TX and moved to Durham, NC in 2017.
